Juan Carlos Montaner Cubi
He was born in Palma on April 3, 1964.
He graduated in Biological Sciences from the UIB in 1990.
He began his career in the world of the performing arts in 1993, training with the best references in several disciplines: acting, mime, clown, improvisation, body expression.
He has participated in countless theatrical productions, short films, IB3 series as an episodic or supporting actor, or in the film "Blocao" released in 2003 at the Sala Augusta.
In 2006, with the Cía. Buffo's opened his own Café Teatro, “Sa Botiga de Buffon's”, which remained in business until 2014.
Curious and restless by nature, he has been interested in philosophy, poetry, thought and spirituality throughout his life. In addition to carrying out different volunteer work such as accompanying patients and their families in palliative care with the Association "Dime, count on us".
Currently, and away from the stage, he combines his work in the research laboratory of the biotechnology company Laminar Pharmaceuticals with his acting workshops, "Introduction to Improvisation and Creativity", "Playing with Rhythm", "Playing to Give of Yourself", which he has taught in Institutes, Schools, training and job placement centers, in the Penitentiary Center and wherever he has been required.
