Summary
We live simultaneously in the fading light of a dying world and the bright dawn of a new one that is about to be born. In this workshop we will bring together reflection, dialogue and listening to explore timeless and contemporary themes, shaped by the interests and insights of each participant. The sessions will be guided by Jordi Pigem, who will share perspectives developed through his body of work.
"The first part of the workshop will focus on the illusions that continue to shape our world today, from materialism, which dominates our worldview, to the narratives surrounding modern technologies such as AI and digitalisation, healthcare management (as seen during the COVID era), and international and global politics. We will also explore the illusion of the finiteness of human existence, increasingly challenged by the growing body of evidence from near-death experiences.
The second part of the workshop will explore the holistic worldview emerging from cutting-edge science, a vision that resonates with the timeless wisdom traditions of both East and West. When science is viewed through the lens of consciousness, it reveals a radically different reality: one that is brimming with life, intelligence and creativity, where each existence holds a meaningful purpose."

Bio
Jordi Pigem
Jordi Pigem (Barcelona, 1964) has a PhD in philosophy and is a writer. He was a professor at the Masters in Holistic Science program at Schumacher College (England). His works include Consciousness or Collapse (2024), Rediscovering the World (2023), Technique and Totalitarianism (2023), Thus Speaks the Earth (2022), Pandemic and Post-Truth (2021), Angels or Robots (2018), Vital Intelligence (2016), and The New Reality (2013).
