"To find peace in our lives, we must learn to cultivate love. Let us walk in the footsteps of wise and sacred activist Satish Kumar to discover how to love ourselves, others and all living beings on planet Earth, even those we may believe unworthy of love.
We are deeply honored to welcome Satish Kumar to Espai Buit for an intimate and inspiring gathering on Saturday 12th October.
Drawing from his life experience and profound wisdom, Satish will guide us through talks and meditative practices. We will also enjoy a screening of his latest documentary, RADICAL LOVE.
SCHEDULE:
Saturday, October 12
09:30 Introduction.
09:45 Meditation with Satish.
10:15 Talk by Satish + Q&A.
11:30 Tea, coffee and snacks (all organic).
12:00 Screening of ""Radical Love"" (Approx. 1 hour), followed by Q&A (30 min)
13:30 Lunch Break - 2 hours.

15:30 Silent meditation, (Satish will be resting during this session), with live music by Jaume Tugores, who will take us in a journey of deep sounds and vibrations that invite calm, introspection, and inner peace
16:30 Talk by Satish + Q&A.
18:30 Closing, thanking Satish for his contributions to the island.

About Satish Kumar
Satish Kumar, world-renowned author and international speaker, lifelong activist and former monk, has been inspiring global change for over 50 years. He walked from India to Moscow, London, Paris, and the United States as a peace pilgrim, traveling without money and relying on the kindness and hospitality of strangers. Satish delivered a humble packet of ‘tea for peace' to leaders of the four nuclear capitals of the world.
He served as editor of Resurgence & Ecologist magazine for over 40 years and continues to write as editor emeritus. Satish founded the educational charity Resurgence Trust and is co-founder of the alternative Shumacher College.
Satish is the author of several books, including his autobiography ""No Destination"", with over 50,000 copies sold, ""The Spiritual Compass"", ""Earth Soul and Society"" and ""Elegant Simplicity"".
